Couple a snaps from my recent events + a dope flip I did for Smokescreen. Catch there show on Saturday or catch the album when they drop it.
To my knowledge Hiphop is the only genre of music that consistently introduces its listeners to other genres of music and artist.
I'm a DJ so trust me I can post examples for days but I don't really feel like doing that lol. Instead I encourage you to take a look a your favorite songs new or old and see what they sampled via http://www.whosampled.com
As a matter of fact I will drop one gem on y'all from that new Jay Z Album 4:44
On another note my guy WSWDS dropped a nice little quick mix while we kicking it at his crib yesterday. I was like bro you need to quit playing and post that shit. Your welcome world. Enjoy The Pre Heat!
Cleveland I do this for y'all. I do this for the future of the culture and I do it for myself. I want to be the best that I can be. pic.twitter.com/tC0OqqUSOO

I had the opportunity to check out my guy starkks and the new studio. He interviewed me for his new podcast the cancelled show. It was great to take break from all the practice I've been doing in preparation for the final regional DMC battle in Pittsburgh and just chop it about music. Friday the 19th I'll be going to Pittsburg to represent Cleveland in the world's largest, longest running most reputable DJ competition. I can't wait!
The video below is my routine from last year at the Cincinnati DMC regional.

Saturday night I had the opportunity to showcase my talent as a producer at the monthly BeatFreak event put together by Young Kings / Fresh Produce. This is my second time playing at this event and I have to say its always fun not just to get feed back on my material but to hear other producers and what they are working on. This tape includes beats from both my sets at the Beat Freak event. Enjoy the tape! Email any inquires to DJNuERA216@Gmail.Com
There's a lot I could say about my guy J Oates and Not Even A Podcast but what I really suggest is that you just listen to the podcast. Lots of interesting, meaningful convo about a varierty of subjects.
I love being a DJ but I'm also competitive I want to be the best. Not better than the next man just better than I was yesterday lol if that makes any sense at all. My guy Royel Urban came to the lab last night to go over his set for a show we're doing this weekend. Then I played a few beats I've been working on and got a little scratch session in while we were talking about work flow.
I make beats, I scratch records, I love being a DJ! pic.twitter.com/bq6ocsBT2K
